Modern Slavery Statement

Modern Slavery Statement

This modern slavery statement is voluntarily issued by Arc Health Nutrition and outlines the measures Arc Health Nutrition has implemented to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not present in our supply chains or any part of our business.

Introduction

Modern slavery is a hidden crime that can manifest in various forms, including servitude, forced and compulsory labour, and human trafficking. It is a severe violation of fundamental human rights and affects millions of people globally. In the UK, traffickers and organised criminals exploit vulnerable individuals from both overseas and within the country.

Arc Health Nutrition staunchly opposes slavery and human trafficking. We will never knowingly engage in business with suppliers or employees involved in such practices. We ensure all employees are compensated at or above the minimum wage applicable to their location. Additionally, Arc Health Nutrition regularly reviews our operations and suppliers to support the eradication of slavery and human trafficking.

Organisational Structure & Supply Chains

Arc Health Nutrition Ltd. is a UK-based direct retailer of Arc Health Nutrition and other branded products within the UK. Our products are contract manufactured and sourced globally from approved suppliers who must meet stringent criteria assessments in both quality and code of conduct.

Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking

Arc Health Nutrition upholds principles of good corporate governance and supplier approval. We are committed to respecting human and labour rights across our supply chains. Through our sourcing practices, we aim to positively impact the lives of many individuals within our supply chains. Our Human and Labour Rights Policy and Supplier Code of Conduct outline our commitments and expectations for our suppliers. All human rights must be respected, with specific actions taken to prevent violations such as child labour and forced labour.

Due Diligence

Arc Health Nutrition will:

  • Actively monitor and mitigate the risk of human and labour rights violations in the supply chain by adhering to our supplier approval program and conducting relevant audits.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and other partners to establish responsible business practices where necessary.
  • Conduct specific assessments of the risks related to child labour, forced labour, and other unacceptable practices in the supply chain.
  • Implement preventive measures and take action to halt and remediate such practices if identified.

Training

Arc Health Nutrition has included anti-slavery and human trafficking, as well as whistleblowing statements, in our staff handbook. Staff members are expected to be aware of and comply with these terms. Additional training needs in this area are assessed on a case-by-case basis following management and staff appraisals that identify training requirements for each employee.
