The BD Microlance 3 Needles are designed for easy penetration, smooth gliding force during insertion/withdraw and reduced cannula friction while sliding through tissue. These needles are available in a wide range of gauges, lengths and bevel designs.
- Regular wall needles: Our conventional needles with a regular wall are less likely to flex than thin wall needles due to the added cannula thickness.
- Thin wall needles: A thin wall–needle inner diameter potentially allows you to use a needle gauge that is one size smaller than that of a regular needle while benefiting from the same flow rate.
- Easy penetration, smooth gliding force during insertion/withdraw and reduced cannula friction while sliding through tissue is a result of the following:
- Three bevel precision grinding of needle bevel
- Targeted needle surface polishing process
- Proprietary needle lubrication process
- Thin walls potentially permit the use of thinner needles with larger lumen thus increasing flow rates during injection and collection
- Recommended use: intradermal, subcutaneous, intramuscular, intravenous injections and aspiration
- BD Microlance Needles can be connected to a luer slip adapter or luer-lock connector
- Sterile, single use
- Natural rubber latex is not part of the material formulation
