Inadine Dressings 5cm x 5cm - 25 pack Non-Adherent Dressing, Sterile, 5 cm Width, 5 cm Length (Pack of 25)

Inadine Dressings 5cm x 5cm - 25 pack low adherent knitted viscose fabric impregnated with a polyethylene glycol (PEG) base containing 10% povidone iodine; equivalent to 1.0% available iodine. INADINE minimises adherence to the wound bed, therefore reducing the risk of damage to the granulation tissue at dressing removal. As PVP–I is released from INADINE the dressing will change colour from orange to white, indicating when it needs to be changed.

Inadine Dressings are designed to provide effective antimicrobial protection for wounds prone to infection. Impregnated with Povidone-Iodine, these dressings are ideal for treating a wide range of wounds, including ulcers, minor burns, and cuts. The controlled release of iodine helps reduce bacterial load, aiding in the prevention of wound infection and promoting a cleaner healing environment.

Key Features:

  1. Antimicrobial Protection: Inadine Dressings contain Povidone-Iodine, which offers broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity. This active ingredient helps to combat a wide range of bacteria, fungi, and viruses, reducing the risk of infection in vulnerable wounds.

  2. Controlled Iodine Release: The dressing is designed to release iodine gradually as it comes into contact with exudate from the wound, providing sustained antimicrobial protection. This controlled release ensures long-lasting efficacy, making it an effective choice for infected or at-risk wounds.

  3. Non-Adherent: Inadine Dressings are non-adherent, meaning they do not stick to the wound bed. This helps to minimize pain and trauma during dressing changes, preserving healthy tissue and promoting a comfortable healing process.

  4. Breathable and Comfortable: The dressing allows for adequate airflow to the wound site, which helps to support the healing process while maintaining a protective barrier against contaminants.

  5. Versatile Application: Inadine Dressings are suitable for use on various wound types, including ulcers, minor burns, lacerations, and infected wounds. They are also ideal for use on skin graft sites, making them a versatile choice for wound care management.

  6. Sterile and Safe: Each dressing is individually packaged and sterilized to reduce the risk of infection. It can be used in both clinical and home settings, providing reliable wound care for various needs.
